How to play Quordle

The task of the participant is to guess four words at the same time. To do this, the player has nine attempts and four fields. The fields contain words of 4, 5, or 6 letters. You can choose the length of the words by clicking on the corresponding number at the top of the screen.

The player enters the first word and waits for the colored hint markers. As soon as the system processes the option, the letters will be colored in a certain color.

Word colors

Use these color markings to choose the next word.

• Green squares indicate letters that are in the correct place.
• Orange letters are also present in the guess word, but they should be moved to a different position and a different word should be chosen.
• If a cell with a letter is grayed out, the clue does not contain that letter.

Use the keyboard layout at the bottom of the screen to enter words. Letters on the layout are also colored. Each of the keys can have several different segments, which confirms that they occupy different positions in different words.

There is also a timer on the screen that tracks how much time is spent on guessing words. The player can turn off the timer and just enjoy the game.

Quordle Daily mode

Among the options, there is also an option to enable the daily mode. New words will appear in the game every day. This allows you to solve the same puzzles with participants around the world.

To get the clues, a participant just needs to click on the appropriate button and give up. The screen will display four words that were encrypted on four playing fields. The time spent on solving the puzzle will also be displayed.
